In comparison to the painting of 1981, we see a different view:

Dominik is now a boy of thirteen years who has grown much during the last two years.
He seems very bright and sharp, less introverted, more aware of the world (and critical of it), with an earnest and sincere mind.
Yet, in the way he looks, we can sense his immense sensitivity.

We can easily envision him participating in some youth movement for the preservation of nature, or any other form of progressive engagement.
